The Detectives’ Endowment Association, (DEA) represents active and retired New York Police Department Detectives. The DEA selected W&E Baum to design an interactive memorial wall for their NYC office. The monument was created to honor the officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The wall features a 65” interactive digital touchscreen that allows employees and visitors to search through names using a digital keyboard to view photographs and bios of detectives. The screen is mounted on a mahogany background flanked by ½ round, tapered, fluted mahogany columns. The curved soffit accommodating satin brass letters has down lighting.  The 24” x 114” x 15” mahogany base has brass letters and etched, painted brass shields. The overall size is approximately 100” x 108”.

Baum’s team worked closely with the DEA throughout the design process and traveled to New York to install the completed design.
